These colored paintings are not photos, they are images painted by Michael using colored pencils (pigment incapsulated in wax, surrounded with cedar wood). The average time on these photo-realistic paintings is between 250 to 500 hours each. Patience. Moving on now into the softer world of oil paints by Michael, a mere 8 months ago, having never experienced  the magic of softer pigments found in oils or having no formal training or education in art, Michael was and still is committed to mastering the special timeless skills of long past renaissance artists.
